Retailers/Suppliers I
use
My
eBay listings - I
sometimes offer my reeds for sale on eBay. You can also
read feedback from my customers here.
Marigaux Oboes
- For those who don't know, I
play on a Marigaux.
Forrests Music
- I buy many different
supplies from Forrests - staples, reed mailing tubes,
knives, and sharpening equipment.
Weber Reeds
- Great supplier who offers
exceptional service.
RDG Woodwinds
- Great cane, great selection
of other oboe-related things.
Le Roseau Chantant
- A fantastic cane supplier
located in Lyon, France.
K. Ge Reeds - Carries really good cane, machines,
instruments, and accessories.
Midwest Musical Imports
- I get cane and some
staples here, but they carry a WIDE variety of products
for all double reeds (and more).
Friends
Bill Roscoe Oboe
Reeds - Bill is
known for his profiled oboe cane. It's really useful if you
are in a hurry to make reeds! He's in Tennessee, in a
little town called Erwin.
Patty Mitchell
- Patty is a very busy oboist
in the SF Bay Area, and she has a wealth of information on
her website. Audition lists, personnel rosters for major
symphonies, and lots of pedagogical information.
Carlos Coelho
- Carlos is known for his
repair skill, and he sells Lorée instruments. He's based in
Indianapolis.
KnoxBrassWorx
- These folks aren't
double-reed related, but they are a great brass quintet in
Knoxville. If you are in need of a brass quintet (or parts
thereof) for your event, call them!

Reedreviews.net - Tried my reeds? You can go here and
rate them. Tried other reeds? You can rate those there,
too. This site is really a fantastic idea, and the more
feedback that goes on there, the more reliable it
becomes.
The International Music Score Library
Project -
A VERY
extensive collection of
solo works, chamber music, orchestral, choral, and opera
scores. Some works even have orchestral parts available.
This is an EXTREMELY valuable resource. You should
