Lessons
I am currently accepting new students! If you live anywhere in the Denver metropolitan area, I am happy to teach you. Or, if you live anywhere else and are able to travel to Denver, then you are welcome to study with me. I teach from my condo in downtown Denver.
I offer reedmaking classes and lessons as well, and I also coach chamber music, whether or not there is an oboe in the ensemble. I'll gladly come to your school for this - just contact me and we'll work something out.

Resources for students:
- downloadable staff paper (10-stave)
- free online metronomes - there really is no excuse now. . .
- Webmetronome.com - Very simple user interface, will accent different beats.
- Seventhstring.com - Interesting metronome. Its "click"
sound is a recorded old-fashioned wind-up metronome. Runs as a Java applet, so may not be the best if you have issues with Java.
- Metronomeonline.com - My favorite interface, pleasant click, and the best-functioning
of the three, in my opinion. Also has downloadable applications for your mobile phone, for a small fee.
- Bestmetronome.com - Nice interface, with simple, accessible, and advanced options. Nice click, lots of interesting features with each option.

- free online tuners - SERIOUSLY. NO EXCUSE.
- Seventh String - Nice interface, looks easy to set up, and you
need to have a microphone set up on your system.
